Chorus - Challenge Accepted
A champion of all things technology, energy powerhouse Chorus is no stranger to keeping Kiwis connected. Which is why when wanting to reach those who were out of technological touch, they wanted something bigger than a one-hit campaign.
The eventuating product was an online docuseries of six x 5 minute episodes, promos and stills - all turned around within three months.
Alongside a shoestring crew of four, I travelled New Zealand’s South Island to tell the stories of pub owners Ted & Georgie and pioneer camerawoman Alayne, as they took up the challenge of trying something new, putting their newfound skills to the test; all with a little help from Chorus, and a lot of faith in themselves.
Meet the three of them below.
Ted & Georgie
Hailing from Dunedin, our first challenge accepters are pub owners Ted and Georgie. They can pull a pint no problem, but can they order their groceries online?
Alayne
The second camerawoman ever in New Zealand, Alayne’s history is spotted with daring tales like hanging out of a helicopter while working for National Geographic. But how does that compare to creating an online photo album?
